Sweet Pea is our wonderful little miniature Donkey who was brought in from "the Wild" by some neighbors. She was very young (about 8 mo.) and had been badly injured. Just hours after arriving at BNoble she had "reconstructive" surgery. The surgery was successful and by her own choice she picked her "new Mom" to be Wendy. They bonded immediately. Although she likes having Freckles for a "big Sis" Wendy is always Mom. Even though Donkeys generally won't stay in a closed barn, she spends every night with Wendy in her stall. Sweet Pea is the smallest member of the herd, she is one of the smartest and loudest. Her resounding Hee-Haws are famous and threatening to Coyotes, Bobcats, Hawks etc. She has a pretty "Swift Kick " as well!
