Buck is a four year old border collie that we picked up from the Denton Animal Shelter. Buck was found wandering the back roads of Denton. His coat was very coarse and knotted. His paws were dry and leathery due to all of the walking he had done in Denton. His ears also had to be shaved at the shelter due to sunburn and fly bites. Now his hair is growing in glossy and smooth. Due to the way he herds our horses (and our other dogs..) we assume this boy used to work on a farm! He has a natural talent to herd and is a very intelligent boy. He has been with us for a couple of months now and he is settling in nicely! He has become the best of friends with Maybree.
